What Personal Information Is Collected on the Site?
Hemisphere collects and stores all information that you enter into our Site or give us in any way, including but not limited to your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, credit card information and certain personal health information that you determine should be known by our guides and/or affiliates. You can choose not provide certain information to us, but you may not be able to take advantage of all features of the Site. We use your information to enable us to manage your travel, transportation, touring and accommodations, and to keep you advised of changes to your itinerary that may be required.

Our Use of Cookies
We also collect certain information automatically through the use of small alpha-numeric text files called “cookies” that we may transfer to your computer’s hard drive via your web browser. We use cookies for standard traffic reporting. Examples of information we collect from the use of cookies include your geographical area, your browser type and version, your operating system type and version, the areas of the site you visited and the length of time spent in those areas, as well as the areas you navigated from or to in using the Site.

How Secure is My Information?
Hemisphere has put into place appropriate security measures to safeguard your information. Personally identifiable information that we collect is protected by using Secured Socket Layers (SSL) third party certificate authentication to encrypt information you transmit. We also reveal only the last four digits or credit card numbers in confirming reservations and purchases. Notwithstanding this security, you should be aware that is not possible to achieve 100% security.

Our Sharing of Personally Identifiable Information with Third Parties
We do not share your personally identifiable information with third parties, except in the following circumstances:

Credit Card Processing - We share personally identifiable information with third-party credit card processors to enable the processing of credit card orders. Hemisphere uses Paypal to provide credit card processing and information entered in making a purchase is done so through Paypal.

Third Party Service Providers – We share personally identifiable information with third parties, who perform service for us, such as data analysis and customer service. These third parties have access to personally identifiable information to perform their services but not for other purposes.

Other Participants in a Service and Tours – In order to meet your travel, transportation, touring and accommodation needs, we also share your personal information with those other parties participating in the service and/or the tour (such as tour directors, airline reservations, hotel reservations, restaurant reservations, applicable travel insurers) to facilitate communication and other needs that arise during the course of your travel, transportation, touring and accommodations.

Law Enforcement – In the event that we have a good-faith belief that it is necessary to share personally identifiable information to comply with laws or regulations and protect our customers, the public or our business.

Sale or Merger – In the event that our business or a portion or all of our assets are sold, personally identifiable information may be included as a transferred asset in the sales transaction.

Your Choices as to How Information is Used
You can review or change your personal information by signing into the account that you create and editing the information in your profile.

If you do not wish to receive e-mails from us, you may opt out of future e-mails by following the directions on the bottom of the e-mail that you receive. However, we will continue to use e-mail to confirm subscriptions or to communicate with you in regard to the status of your travel, transportation, touring and accommodations.

You may also prevent your web browser from accepting cookies from us by adjusting your browser settings. Your browser may also be set to notify you when a cookie is sent to your browser or to allow the opportunity to accept or rejects cookies on an individual or site-by-site basis. Your browser may also permit you to delete cookies that have already been stored on your computer.

Use of Site by Children
Hemisphere does not sell services to children. If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, you may use this Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
